A Cause for Patriotism

Story: I'm sure all of you are probably very familiar with the death of Osama bin Laden. I'm not going to to into the details right now. In order to understand my take on this, all you need to know is that he was finally killed by the Navy Seals, and that (in my opinion) they- not the President- should receive full credit for this victory.

My Opinion: The death of this violent terrorist is truly something to be celebrated here in the United States. Not because I rejoice in the actual act of death- but because justice has been done, evil removed. When I heard about the Navy Seals stunning triumph over the Pakistani leader, I was immediately filled with a sense of pride. Despite our country's growing disrespect toward our selfless military, these men continued to serve with their very lives. It was these brave men who stormed bin Laden's hiding place, these men who risked their lives to save countless others, these men who stayed above the government influence and did their duty without letting political correctness get in the way. It was these AMERICAN soldiers! My great hope upon hearing this is that it will reignite the dying sense of patriotism in our sinful country. May the death of this man who hurt every US citizen on September 11, 2001 reunite this country behind our military, led by our God. May all American citizens remember how much respect and praise our military men deserve. May all Americans once again rally behind the stars and stripes, reminding the world that they dare not tread on us without bracing themselves for an attack. And may we give credit to these courageous soldiers, not to our bumbling president who would have prevented this success with all of his nauseating liberalism.

God Bless America! And God Bless our Brave American Soldiers!

  1. well put and thanks for the info. I agree. We should be proud but not celebrate like lunitics. That makes us no better than what we try to kill. We should be proud and thankful. Thanks a lot! :)
