Trying to Take it All In...

As my last days at home fly by and I try to take in every moment spent with my family before going off to college, this Chesterton quote comes to mind.  If only I could learn how to love and appreciate things to that extent before losing them!  For my college readers- what helped make leaving easier, and what helped ease the pain of homesickness once you all were away?
Hope everyone is having a blessed Sunday!  God bless!

  1. Isn't it strange to see everything changing? I'm a first year college student this year, although I'm cheating since I'm living at home. Hints I've heard from others though are:
    - Skype!!
    - Lots and lots of God time.
    - Writing good old fashioned letters to those you miss most.

    Keeping you in my prayers!
    God bless,
    Chloe M.

  2. Skyping is the new....skyping. But clean your room first. We can see your room!

  3. Yes, I've heard quite about Skype. As of right now, I'm not a huge fan, but I may have to convert once I'm away! :)

My little sister has already promised me letters, which I look forward to receiving!

Haha- thank you for the tip Sister Mary Martha- I will make sure my room is clean! And thank you Chloe for the most important recommendation: God time.

May God bless both of you!
